"Decent prices, but shipping adds up"
So... the prices are generally fair, but once shipping gets added, some of the gear doesn’t really feel like it’s worth the total cost. Not bad overall, just not amazing...

"Warranty support was okay, but I might shop elsewhere next time"
I had to reach out to gear.com after the zipper on my jacket broke only a few months in. To be fair, they did approve the warranty claim, so I appreciated that part.
The process just felt slower than it needed to be. I had to send the same info twice, and it seemed like nobody was reading the whole conversation before replying.
They did eventually send a replacement, so it worked out in the end, but it took longer than I expected. Not the worst experience, but if this happens again, I’d probably think twice before ordering from them again
"Checkout could definitely use some work"
I tried ordering a jacket and, to be fair, the order did eventually go through, so it wasn’t a total disaster. But the checkout process was frustrating. It kept freezing right after I entered my address, and I had to refresh twice and put my card info in again, which made me a little uneasy. I also didn’t love that the shipping cost only appeared at the very last step. I get that glitches happen, but checkout should feel smoother and more upfront than this

I ordered from gear.com on Monday and somehow it showed up by Wednesday. I did noooot expect it to get here that fast. The box looked totally fine too, so yeah, I’m happy with it.

"Description Felt a Bit Misleading"
From the way the item was described, I assumed it would be a little different than what showed up. It wasn’t a huge deal, but the details didn’t quite match, so I was a bit disappointed.
"Solid gear overall, I’d buy again"
I picked up a jacket and a couple pairs of hiking socks from Gear.com, and I’m happy with the order. The quality feels good for what I paid, the stitching looks solid, and the jacket fit about how I expected it to. My only small gripe is that the zipper on the jacket is a bit stiff, which is why I wouldn’t call it perfect. Still, for the price and overall feel, I think it was a good buy and I’d shop there again.

"Delivered right on schedule"
I’ve ordered from gear.com twice now, and both times the packages arrived on the exact day they said they would. To be fair, that’s really all I expect from online delivery, but it’s still nice when it actually happens without any hassle. The tracking was clear enough, and I didn’t have to chase anything down. Happy with the experience overall.

I had to wait longer than expected to hear back from support, and when they did respond, it didn’t really solve much for me. Maybe they were just busy, to be fair, but I was hoping for a more direct and helpful reply

I’ve been waiting over two weeks for my refund now, and it’s frustrating. I get that delays happen, but this has dragged on way longer than it should. At this point, I’d expect some kind of compensation or at least a proper update for the inconvenience

"Found What I Was Looking For"
I went in for one specific thing, well, actually two, but I forgot the second one until I was already near checkout, and they had what I needed. The shelves looked well stocked overall, at least in the sections I wandered through. Not everything was overflowing, but I didn’t have any trouble finding the main item, so that was good enough for me
"Tracking was pointless and support wasnt much better"
the tracking was useless... it said my package shipped and then just sat there on the same update for over a week, no movement, no real info, nothing.
I emailed support thinking maybe they could actually tell me what was going on, but they just sent back a basic “please wait” type reply. No date, no explanation, not really any help at all.
At this point I still have no idea where my order is. Maybe it shows up eventually, maybe it doesnt... either way I dont see myself ordering from gear.com again

I had a good experience using gear.com. The site was easy to move around, and I appreciated the filters because they helped me find what I was looking for quickly. Checkout was smooth and hassle-free too, which I’m always thankful for. A couple of pages loaded a little slowly on my end, but overall I was happy with the shopping experience.

The order showed up on time, which I appreciated, but the whole experience felt kind of meh. The sizing was off, and dealing with the return took longer than I expected. Not terrible, but not something I’d be excited to do again.

"Support took too long to get back to me"
The gear itself was fine, from what I paid attention to anyway, but I was mostly focused on getting my issue sorted. Support took a few days to reply, and when they finally did, it didn’t really feel like they fixed the problem properly. Not the worst experience, but definitely frustrating.

The sizing was actually close and it fit me well for the most part. I do wish it had just a tiny bit more room in one spot, but overall I’m happy with how it feels and would say it’s a good fit.
